About Dr. Spitz, Boston Dental
Steven D. Spitz, DMD is a Prosthodontist (a dentist recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) as a specialist in restoring and replacing teeth) and Implant Dentist. His post-doctoral studies include a two-year, full-time program at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Boston VA Medical Center, and a General Practice Residency through Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, currently teaches at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is on staff at Franciscan Children's Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts.
Dr. Spitz has been active in his local community, as well as where he lived prior. He and his wife Laurie have been involved with the Jordan Boys and Girls Club in Chelsea, Massachusetts and Bright Spirit Children's Foundation. The Boys and Girls Clubs of America helps boys and girls, generally from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. Bright Spirit Children's Foundation supports seriously-ill children in hospitals through distractive entertainment. Their programs uplift their spirits, distract them from their illness, and help them cope with the pain, boredom, & anxiety associated with their illness.
